One of the most common problems when wearing a bra is the straps that come off all the time. To avoid this, many women try to tighten the straps stronger, but this doesn’t help. A perfectly fitting bra shouldn’t have this problem. Let’s figure out why this is happening and how to get rid of this unpleasant problem.

About the reasons
The bra should be held primarily by the belt, and not by the straps.
Your special shoulder structure isn’t the reason for the straps that fall is not at all. The reason is the wrong size of the bra belt. When the belt is too large or not tight enough, it lifts up and thus relaxes the straps.
80% of women wear bras with the wrong belt size. The bra should be held, first of all, by the belt, and not by the straps, so it’s worth pulling it as tight as possible, but without creating unpleasant squeezing sensations.
70, 75, 80 – not the size of your girth under the bust, so feel free to take 1-2 sizes smaller, and a larger cup
If you’re wearing size 75B, try shrinking the belt one size and increasing the cup one size, which is 70C. These are the so-called “sister sizes”. Their cups are absolutely the same, the only difference is in the size of the belt. You can probably achieve even better results if you try on a belt two sizes smaller. So, don’t be afraid to do this, because according to the bra-fitting rules, the belt should sit tight enough at the time of trying on. After the first wash it will become larger.
After choosing the correct belt that will almost completely hold your bra, pull the straps so that no more than two fingers can be inserted between the shoulders and the straps. As a result, the belt should sit absolutely horizontally, and the straps should not squeeze the shoulders.
Embossed shoulder straps will slide less over the shoulders.
By choosing the right size for yourself, you’ll get rid of the problem of falling straps. If, even with the correct size, your straps periodically fall off, then try experimenting with bra models. For example, take a model with embossed straps – they will slide less over the shoulders and hold more tightly.
Also pay attention to the width between the straps. If you have narrow shoulders, a bra with tight straps may be more suitable for you.
As a last resort, get a crossover bra.
One more thing!
No matter how paradoxical it may sound, the straps can also fall off due to too large cups. Once our regular client called us and said that the straps of the bra she took from us began to fall off. We invited her to our showroom and didn’t find out: the girl lost 20 kg in 3 months. Not surprisingly, the bra has grown catastrophically large for her. And the straps began to fly off due to empty cups and the lack of minimum tension.
Turn around in your bust, does it fit tightly in the cups, when you make movements, does the top of the cup come off? If there is a gap between the breast and the cup, then the bra is too big for you.
Conclusion
Alas, none of even the most expensive and high-quality bras lasts forever. Perhaps your favorite bust is already out of date and simply not able to provide you with good support. Elastic materials tend to stretch over time. The more often you wear the same bra for several days in a row, the sooner it deteriorates. And stretched straps are not able to sit tightly, no matter how you tighten them.
Any discomfort associated with a bra, as a rule, means only one thing – you are wearing the wrong size. It’s also worth noting that all women have a different breast shape, and there is a possibility that the bra that is uncomfortable for you simply doesn’t suit you in shape. In this case, the first thing you need to do is make sure that you’re wearing the correct size.
